Summary Job Statement

The Sales Analyst provides oversight of the reporting hierarchy within Coca-Cola United and produces meaningful metrics, reports, charts, dashboards and presentations using data from various systems. Must be familiar with a variety of department field's concepts, practices and procedures. Must be willing to travel as needed. Conducts ongoing analysis and reporting of key business metrics and product performance analysis and develops performance models. Ensures data integrity of business systems and manages the business planning/forecasting process, including sales trends and price modeling. Responsible for various projects and a variety of tasks supporting the department by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities

  • Prepares statistical summaries and reports associated from involving departmental data, or other records. Develops of both operational and strategic presentation materials to aid senior management.
  • Manages reporting processes from gathering requirements, designs report layout, and develops/prepares reports. Provides analytical support to the entire departmental management team. Provides functional and technical expertise to departmental end users regarding report design and generation.
  • Delivers in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Develops and tracks metrics.
  • Assists with special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college of university; or 2 to 3 year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be in compliance with the CCBCU's fleet policy.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables and vlookup.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to interpret large volumes of data.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to travel through the company.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
