Summary Job Statement

Sales Dispatcher will dispatch product for delivery while ensuring that all orders are assigned to the proper vehicle and driver on daily basis:


  • Communicates verbally and electronically with Sales Center Managers, Sales Operations Managers, Area Managers, Sales Supervisors, Call Center Agents, and Warehouse Managers in each Sales Center to ensure all sales orders are received, processed, and dispatched to each warehouse correctly.
  • Utilize LEO planning software to dispatch product sold for the appropriate day.
  • Ensure that orders are sequenced correctly for delivery when dispatched.
  • Understand and perform the Hot Shot process and generation of loads and invoices for creation in CONA/SAP Understand basic product knowledge and vehicle types for successful dispatching of orders.
  • Provide daily communication and reports from LEO to management team.
  • Works with the Sales Center management to assist in resolving any concerns or issues.
  • Conducts periodic site visits to each Sales Center to gain feedback from the management team and drivers on dispatching effectiveness.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • Associate Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or __6__ months to __1__ year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on- one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and comply with CCBCU fleet policy
  • Some computer experience required Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Must be able to read and speak English
