Pensions & Payroll Officer (Permanent)

Location: Bristol Country: UK Rate: £29605.00 - £32982.00 per annum
 

Are you an experienced Pensions & Payroll professional looking for a dynamic and fulfilling role? Our client, a large organisation based in Bristol, is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join their team as a Pensions & Payroll Administrator. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of £29,605 to £32,982 per year depending on experience. This position offers a Hybrid working model, requiring you to be on-site 3 days a week (Wednesday being one), and 2 days remotely.

As a Pensions Administrator, you will play a vital role in delivering a top-notch payroll and pensions service. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate payroll processing, analysing pension statements, resolving payroll and pension issues, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Your strong attention to detail and excellent IT skills will be crucial to succeed in this role.

You will need to have both Teachers Pensions (TPS) and Local Government Pensions experience, as this will predominately be the main focus of the role with Payroll only taking up around 30% of your time.

To be successful in this position, you must have a broad-based Pension and Payroll experience in a professional or specialist service within a large complex organisation. Experience in pension administration and processing high volumes within a large payroll or pension environment is essential. A good understanding of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes.
