Lead SAP Consultant (MDM/MDG)- Germany- Permanent opportunity

I am currently supporting a global luxury fashion organisation on their search for a Lead SAP Consultant (MDM/MDG) across Germany on a permanent basis.

The role:
As Lead Consultant for the SAP S/4HANA Fashion Management solution in Master Data Management (Governance), you will be responsible for the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and further development of expert knowledge in the field of Master Data Management and competent consulting in the corresponding domains.
• Orchestration of the development and design of the roadmap for the current S/4HANA Digital Core solution, including monitoring of implementation and integration with all relevant application systems.
• Promote master data governance best practices within the organization and assist in building appropriate processes and structures to support the business model.
• Assess the external environment and identify emerging technologies to assess the potential impact, threats, and opportunities for the business.
• You will support the development of a lean solution architecture and the review of software or Datamodelling designs to ensure security and scalability in line with IT governance standards.
• Manage stakeholder expectations for solution delivery, end-to-end process adaptation, and technology development to support business requests and continuous solution optimization.
• Natural leadership and resource management. Participation in recruitment processes, resource allocation, and active mentoring of the team.

Experience required:

• In-depth operational experience in SAP S/4HANA MDM, with extensive knowledge of the core data objects such as Retail Article Master, Business Partner, Site, Seasons, Listing & Assortment as well as all subsequent data distribution methods.
• Very good understanding of the technical and business processes in the field of SAP x-functional master data management.
• Knowledge of SAP retail or fashion solutions, including project experience in retail, E-commerce, or the fashion industry, is a plus.
• Proven functional consulting experience with a process-oriented mindset.
• Experience in a product-oriented solution environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and opinions to stakeholders.
