EMEA Real Estate & Facilities Manager (Permanent)
Location: Cyprus
Our client is a major multinational provider of software and services to telecommunications service providers globally.
The EMEA Real Estate and Facilities manager will manage and lead the day-to- day operations and real estate of the business paying special attention to the premises on which the business is located.
What will your job look like?
You will be responsible for defining and planning the FM and RE strategy within the region which addresses the goals and objectives
You will plan and manage end-2-end projects within the region (building works, renovations, space allocation, etc.)
You will supervise FM and RE experts, maintenance employees, contractors and vendors
You will plan, manage and monitor FM; RE suppliers/vendors vs. to contracts
You will ensure implementation of safety and security procedures on site as per local safety requirements as well as per the company policy
You will be responsible for properly maintenance of company premises and equipment, ensure cleanliness of sites, provide high standard catering services where needed
You will encourage innovative activities aligned with business needs and supporting business growth and customer satisfaction
You will be responsible for the RE budget within the region
You will lead consolidation activities within the region to maximize ROI from building and assets usage
You will coordinate lease renewals in collaboration with business units and procurement
You will seek to understand the business challenges and requirements - translate them into tasks and projects to support business and ensure smooth and safe working environment within the region
You will manage 5-100 sites directly or indirectly, manages 5-10 employees directly, manage Matrix contractors and vendors contracts.
Managed small, medium and big projects with different level of complexities
All you need is...
Bachelors degree Civil engineering or electrical engineering degree is required, as well as proven experience in facilities and Real Estate areas
7+ years of experience in similar jobs
Basic experience in financial planning and control and/or inspection and auditing
Experience in project management from planning to execution
Proven experience in managerial roles and/or Matrix management
